I’ve listened to many of Mike’s podcasts. Tamara Thornton interview was the most inspirational from a parenting standpoint. I’m sharing this with my adult children. Incredible mother and family.
Great interviews and great stories. Mike hits that perfect balance of humor and seriousness that set him apart from others in the pod cast universe.
As with many others my first encounter with Mike Rowe was through dirty jobs. He brought to light the day to day work, ethics, drive and craftsmanship that keeps modern society ticking along. His voice, humor, and humility catch your attention and he isn’t too hard on the eyes either. But what really seals the deal is how he highlights the people doing “the thing”. The way I see it is an extension of this same talent through a different form. A much more portable and schedule friendly form I might add. The people and topics selected are not just relevant but he is offering a unique and focused perspective on the subject that may not be revealed in ordinary structured interviews. It’s candid, fun and interesting to listen to and enjoyable to hear him and his best bud sing us into submission of writing that, not 4, but 5 star review. Thanks to you and all who support your career in leaving an iconic wake in entertainment. Also, forgive my grammar, I’m an engineer...it’s not our strength, think Microsoft got tired of that and that’s how spell check was formed?
I love the discussions Mike has with his guests. He asks great questions and throws in some humor along the way. I love to listen while doing my chores.
