The Energy Curfew Music Hour

Been hoping Chris Thile would make another music hour like this happen! So grateful he and the rest of the incredible crew did. What a treat to feel like you’re in a living room sharing music with people. A perfect listen to make dinner and unwind during.

Episode 1 brought tears to my eyes for memories of Live From Here, and Prairie Home Companion. (I still love the heck out of PHC, there I said it). I can’t wait to hear all eight episodes. I’m saving them for Sunday nights, 8pm. They will be savored. These shows have turned me on to so many fantastic musicians.

Chris was amazing in PHC and later named Live From Here. Both shows that brought me incredible joy! And now I have that joy again!!! These shows are the perfect campfire companion and many other moments in life where you just need some beautiful music in the background. What Chris understands is when amazing musicians collaborate, amazing things happen, sparks fly and moments are made. Thanks Chris for bringing this format back!!

Like, do you know me personally and do things just to delight li’l ol’ me? It’s all the fun live music from Live From Here with cute little sketches that have just a dash of dark, surreal humor. Very Prairie Home Companion meets Welcome to Nightvale. And as a HUGE Brittany Haas fan (both just her and Hawktail) it’s amazing to hear her playing with The Punch Brothers. She’s an amazing addition to the band and makes me so incredibly happy. I don’t get a lot of progressive bluegrass podcasts, so please make as many of these as you can. PS Noam Pikelny is a very funny man.
