Im listening to the J.C. McGhee episode- a complicated case if there ever was one. The podcast manages to explain the situation and its nuances in a way that held my interest. A lot of podcasts wind up muddying the water or just going into non-essential sidebar conversations, but this one managed to inject relevant info without losing the focus. Very well done and I look forward to listening to other episodes. I hope Madison and the family finally get some answers.

When this podcast is good, it’s really good. Lately though, so much time is spent on inane bs and teasing what’s coming up in the next episode, it’s getting ridiculous. They’re obviously trying to drag a story out into as many parts as possible. I love a good deep dive, but when the story stalls out for hours, that’s not it.

I love true crime podcasts. I keep coming back to this one because it covers some the cases I have followed over the years. I just feel S&D are mismatched and don’t play off each other well. It’s frustrating to listen to.
