I really enjoy Crime Weekly. I prefer to watch them on YouTube because they include great visuals, but I typically can’t wait that long to listen to the episodes😂 They do terrific deep dives into very interesting cases. Yes, they may be a bit biased and always give their own takes, but I personally enjoy that(even when I don’t 100% agree with their take). I have always appreciated hearing other perspectives, but if that is offensive to you, then maybe this isn’t the right podcast for you. IMO, they are by far the best at what they do. Thank you, Stephanie and Derrick!
I have been listening to true crime podcasts for a looong time and I have my favorites. When I came across Crime Weekly, and listened to the first episode, I was in true crime podcast heaven. I love all the work that goes into each episode 👏🏻 Stephanie! I love the ones that have many parts. I believe that what makes this podcast so good is the input by both Stephanie and Derrick - his LE background brings another perspective that you wouldn’t think of yourself- and their ability to not sway you one way or the other even though you know what side they’re on. This technique really rounds things out and gets you thinking! I’m going on a road trip tomorrow and it’s Crime Weekly for hours! Oh- and Criminal Coffee is great too!!
I’ve listened to all the true crime ‘casts over the years. Fell out of it a couple years back. Discovered this show falling down a West Memphis rabbit hole. I must say this may be the best true crime podcast I’ve ever listened to. The info is presented in such a professional manner. It isn’t overly opinionated or dramatic. There isn’t the obligatory annoying co-host who seems to be uneducated and there only to be annoying. The relationship of the two hosts strikes a great balance. You guys should be proud. Great job.
I just found y’all several weeks ago and I have so been binging on all episodes. My new favorite podcast. Such a duo. I love Stephanie’s research and how Stephanie will say it even her rants exactly what I was thinking. Love it! I love Derrick’s insight and how you both don’t rush no matter how many parts. Highly recommend!!!!
I love true crime podcasts. I keep coming back to this one because it covers some the cases I have followed over the years. I just feel S&D are mismatched and don’t play off each other well. It’s frustrating to listen to.
