I've listened to a lot of podcasts, but The Curiosity Shop has had the biggest impact on me. Every episode leaves me learning something new, whether it's about myself, how I think, or how I can continue to grow.
As someone working toward a leadership role, this podcast has been like a leadership boot camp. It has challenged my perspective, strengthened my self-awareness, and given me practical insights that I can apply both professionally and personally.
If you're interested in personal growth, emotional intelligence, or becoming a better leader, I can't recommend this podcast enough. It's one of those rare shows where every episode gives you something valuable to reflect on long after you've finished listening.

With familiarity with Brene Brown’s work, I expected deeper than average conversations. Add Adam Grant into the mix, and the conversation ventures into uncomfortable territory that a single person alone would bypass. This makes possible unexpected revelations.

She is one of the most influential and insightful authors of our time. I tried to listen to the Simon Sinek conversation because I love him and Adam Grant. However, a few minutes in, I had to turn it off. Brené Brown went on a tangent about soccer and how much she loved it. I was waiting for the connection, but it never really made sense. Next time, I’ll listen to a podcast that gives their guest a real chance to shine.

I devoured her dare to lead podcast and his re:thinking / worklife podcasts so I had high hopes for this pod.
It’s more than just not my style, it’s plain strange. Long pauses. Meandering intros that cover what they’re going to talk about then keep talking about what they’re going to talk about … then finally get to it?
They’re both interviewers, researchers, experienced podcast hosts and I’ve never been more shocked to see them have less in common and be unable to align.
Brene asks Adam what’s on his heart and mind when they finally kick off talking and he’s like do you want one or two answers? And she’s like … depends how close they are… Then he pivots to Brene’s 30 years of sobriety and the Gottmans celebrating their 30th anniversary??? That’s what’s on your heart and mind, Adam?
I wanted to love this show. The cringe will keep me away.
