I found his podcast by accident and am glad I listened Always interesting topics and individuals I especially like the round table
Loving the round tables. But Richard’s skill is continuing to bring on guests that I didn’t know I would be interested in. Richard will always say it’s the guest who is interesting, but at some point you have to credit his prep and ability to build the conversation brick by brick. And every guest basically says he’s one of the best humans in the business. His character keeps me coming back, and makes the guests more forthright. Also, doesn’t hurt that he’s a longtime Mets fan - builds a lot of heart.
Discovered Richard via his pal Jimmy Traina and listen to his episodes when time allows. I appreciate learning about the business side of sports media and other cool BTS things (best media dining?!). Listening to this pod will bring you into a class of your own among your coworkers when having water cooler talk about sports.
As a big Detroit Tigers fan, I really enjoyed listening to the podcast with Jason Benetti that you did. I think he is one of the best people in baseball to call a game right now. I also enjoyed your recent interview with Mark Henry too. I’m impressed that you continue to have on guests from the pro wrestling world. As a big fan of this too, I really appreciate that you shine a spotlight on this genre.
