What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I’ve been following F1 for about 8 years now and have followed Matt and Tommy since they were part of the WTF1 family. I absolutely love how much personality they bring to the sport and how well they cater to new and old fans alike. As I’ve looked through reviews that have been posted on here, I see a lot of people exaggerating the number of ads on the podcast, some saying there are more ads than actual content. I think these negative reviews are misguided and unfair. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for a typical 30-45 minute episode to have a 3-4min ad break at the beginning and middle of its runtime. It’s no different than if you were watching something on tv. This duo clearly puts so much effort into their work, and if ads help them succeed and reach a greater audience, then so be it. If a skippable ad break is what’s stopping you from listening to this podcast then you probably didn’t really care about what they had to say anyway.

My family loves Matt and Tommy! We went from knowing NOTHING a few years ago, watching DTS (I know, I know), to stumbling on Matt and Tommy a year or so ago. They slowly but surely taught us so much about the strategy and foundation of F1 in an accessible way to grow our knowledge. Now we’re yelling about tires in my house….who would have thunk. If you love the podcast, you need to watch their watchalongs on YouTube. We can’t watch without them on now. We turn the TV sound off, sync with the lights, and get the best genuine reactions from Matt and Tommy. Thanks for bringing such joy to our home. And special shout to Grace who is the best guest in the history of podcasting/YouTube ❤️

KS1910 · Dec 2025

I listen to a lot of F1 podcasts and most are neutral so this is one of my favorites since they both have opinions, favorites, personality, and most importantly wheel-knowledge.

Jnav7 · Nov 2025

I get exited every time these guys post. Genuinely a highlight of my week is listing to the highly entertaining episodes as I get ready for school, do my homework, or even cook dinner. Keep up the great work!!

Little_Pickle_Bot · Nov 2025

The content is great and fun, but they’re distributed by a company that shoves an unreasonable amount of ads into the episodes. And even worse, there’s some sort of dynamic ad spot system that tries to inject unskippable ad reads that end up breaking playback so bad I have to crash the app to resume. Unacceptable. Makes the podcast extremely frustrating to listen to.
