What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Still the best sports interviews anywhere…. the blend of insight, humor and community on the show is uniquely GREAT.

An email was read at the top of this episode, of a man memorializing his late father. One statement of praise for him was, "He was the kind of guy who rooted for his neighbors to win the lottery." That touched me, and reminded me, among myriad other reasons, why I love to listen to this show. Please keep it up.

EphrataMom · Jul 2026

Long form related version to the best sports show PTI and a true insight into the fascinating mind of TK. There hasn’t been an episode I haven’t chuckled at and yet learned many facts (and some old song lyrics)

jrc5309 · Jul 2026

Tony is incredibly bright and offers expert opinions on matters of sports. But that’s just the beginning! His comments about life, traffic, food, etc. are incredibly funny. His guests impart insights to help me enjoy spots at a deeper level. The show pulls in musicians and bands playing original tunes, show’s Tony’s deep appreciation of music. The best part of the show is the mail bag. The emails are thoughtful, well written and FUNNY! Keep up the great work.

I’ve been listening for over a decade plus and would call myself a loyal little. But to be honest, the show has been on a downward trajectory for a few years. Michael is brutal. I skip ahead the second he starts in on golf (or anything else for that matter). Just so much golf talk. Why?!? The show is worse off without Kip imo. I find him a great addition when he was on. There’s too many gambling segments during football season. I gamble on games and I still think it’s too much. I liked it when the show was more of an adult program that mixed in sports. Maybe I’m being too sentimental but it’s nowhere near must listen that it used to be when Tony was at the radio station. I finally unsubscribed and hate that it got to this point.

John in OH · Jul 2026

After decades of enjoying this show the time has come to unsubscribe. The show has never returned to its pre-COVID level of entertainment or quality. The lack of interesting regular contributors, propping up of a talentless relative, the constant theme not having tech skills, and the “begging” for free items and benefits is just too much to justify continuing (not to mention how insufferable Wilbon has become). The show has simply run its course.
