This is hands down the best mma podcast by the OG best journalist in the sport of MMA. Ariel is just as passionate about the sport now as he was when he first started. If you want insightful interviews from the best in the sport, this is for you. The boys in the back and Petesy add a lot of fun and personality to the show as well.

I was torn on leaving this review. I’ve been a long time fan of The MMA Hour and Ariel Helwani’s various ventures throughout the years. I enjoy the occasional interview, however, the quality of guests, topics, and depth of knowledge of the sport have been lacking. It feels like the focus of the show has been shifting toward Ariel being more of a media personality than a journalist. If you like that type of content, you may enjoy this show. I don’t. Other sports shows are guilty of this as well but I’d like to say that hearing gambling odds more often than actual analysis is not enjoyable. Hearing a strangers parley provides me no entertainment value and teaches me nothing new about the sport or athletes.
