I love listening to Bless Your Hardt! Amy and Dale are so funny and I can so relate as an older parent with a pre-teen. Thanks for sharing your stories and making me laugh!
If I could only have one podcast to ever listen to on my phone, Dale Junior is the one. He is probably the best interviewer of anyone I’ve heard and I’ve listened to a lot over my many years. He really listened to what his guests say, and respond and act accordingly. Love hearing his interview interviews with the legend especially keep it up Dale.
Love the podcast but something’s wrong with the editing on Bless Your Hardt at least on the Apple podcast platform. There are always 7 or 8 times when 20-30 second segments are repeated and it’s not the podcast skipping…it’s like they are spliced back to back. Also happens on Denny’s podcast. Doesn’t seem to happen on DBC or Dirty Air.
I started watching NASCAR in 2000 and the last season I watched before this year was the year before they made stock cars look like something out of import tuner magazine aka the CoT. After seeing so much promo for the 500 I decided to watch and have been hooked again ever since. Then I came across the DJD and was so hype there was a remnant of my childhood NASCAR experience alive and well. I even ran and told my wife everything I ever knew about NASCAR comparing and contrasting today’s racing vs. racing in the early 2000’s. The show is incredible Dale represents for me the purest version of the sport. Perfect mix of nostalgia and current events. My favorite photo in all of NASCAR may not be that significant but it’s the 2000 IROC race at Michigan Speedway. Dale Jr. is leading Dale Sr. in a teal firebird and Sr. in a dark blue in the middle of a corner. Wondering if Jr. has any memories from that race.
Dale and Amy are great, but their new producer this year is tough to listen to. You’ll hear a lot of him. Disruptive to Dale and Amy’s natural flow. Just saying it’s quite a change from last year thanks to his cringy chime-ins. Just my opinion. I usually make it through 1/2 episode but I’ll stay subscribed to support Dale and Amy.
