What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I stumbled upon your podcast randomly and I now listen to you every day, catching up on the years of podcasts I missed. Please keep sharing your true hearts. Politics is personal and you have a powerful platform In which to share what is important to you. You've worked hard to establish your prominence in this overcrowded crime podcast world. Never apologize, never stop.

Out of all the paranormal and true crime shows I spend time with, Sinisterhood really has the best delivery. Stoked to be able to listen to topics where I don’t have to fast fwd to get to the good stuff. Freaky Fridays are my fave! 🖤

Kadeena · Dec 2024

These women are phenomenal, and it often feels like I am listening to my own friends. However this review is intended for everyone leaving negative reviews due to K&H’s vocalizations of their political beliefs. I’m going to make it as simple as I can for you: Regardless of who you, the reader, voted for, the result of the election is highly likely to affect these hosts and their families. On top of that, they seem to be humans that are capable of feeling empathy, which means that they are able to see how things will negatively impact other groups that they are not a part of. In other words, they care about others that are unlike them who are about to suffer. And on top of THAT, this is their platform that they created, host, record, and have families assist in editing. They are allowed to discuss whatever they’d like on their own podcast. If the notion of people being upset on behalf of themselves and others ANNOYS YOU, you are part of the problem. 500/5 stars, will listen forever.

HanBranson · Nov 2024

These women are on the correct side of history. Their empathy and passion for justice are a breath of fresh air in the current state of humanity. It is also their podcast and they are entitled to speak their truth as they bear witness to the impending darkness. Anyone who feels the need to leave a one star review because of “politics” is completely missing the point of this podcast and should reevaluate their morality and their choices. These women are brilliant, kind, empathic, and above all honest. And I think we could all use more of that.

RCB1010 · Nov 2024

I was a long time listener of this show until the recent episode about America’s dark web where Heather & Christie not-so-subtly shamed anyone who isn’t liberal. I had so much respect for the both of you and used to encourage anyone who would listen to check out Sinisterhood. All of that went out the window when you decided to use your TRUE CRIME podcast as political propaganda. When discussing cases, you both always acknowledge if/when you’re not experts in whatever the given subject matter is. So I have to ask, what in the world qualifies either of you (a lawyer and a psychology major) to educate people on politics? You are entitled to your own opinions but you have no business using your platform to influence how people should vote. You have lost a loyal, long time listener -which is unfortunate for me too, by the way, because Sinisterhood used to be my favorite podcast. But I can’t bring myself to continue supporting you as I now feel unwelcome because my political beliefs differ from yours.

jagamomma · Nov 2024

Much like what happened with My Favorite Murder - this podcast talks too much about politics. Why can’t we stay on brand of being comedy & true crime? It’s not a good look and while everyone is entitled to their own political stance, this platform and show has strayed away from its original purpose and now belittles the beliefs of others. I don’t care who you voted for but just please stick to what we came here for…
