Enjoy listening to the cast, but please stop the marathon length podcasting. Weekly podcasts should rarely (if ever) exceed an hour and a half or so. Way too much bloat in the LSM podcasts. I was glad Punching Up went from biweekly to weekly, but that change should not be accompanied by a significant increase in episode length. Listen to what Colin says—“Less Is More”—and not what he does.
I’m a causal Nintendo player at best, but this unique mix of humans have such great range & opinion that I’m riveted with each episode. It’s a great mix of news, antics, & opinions. The broad range of opinions in the hosts make for great discussion.
A great addition to the LSM shows. Gene and Micah bring new voices to LSM family. Dustin does a fine job as host and Dagan is always great. I will be looking forward to every episode.
Even if you’re not a Nintendo die hard fan, you will still come to love all of the hosts with all the charm and industry insight they bring to the table. I absolutely recommend checking out other Last Stand shows, as there is no greater bang for your buck or time when it comes to LSM
One of the hosts spoiled a major part of a game for some. Rather than own it and apologize they spend 10 minutes justifying it with “it was in a trailer” and then proceeding to make it out like those sensitive to spoilers are ridiculous. The kicker is it wasn’t even a game on a Nintendo system. Won’t be returning to this one.
