Portcast with Ron Bennington

How do you get more authentic than recording a show DURNG your chemotherapy treatments? Ron Bennington is and has always been a genius, but this Portcast is incredible in ways that reach beyond the somewhat niche worlds I’ve come to know of Ronnie B from. I love this so much and thank you Ron for doing it. Innovating dark humor and morbid-yet-interesting conversation. Genius

I’ve been listening to Ronnie B since the year 2000. Every iteration of his show (Ron and Fez, UnMasked, The Bennington Show, and more) is everything that makes talk radio great! Each show is an evolution of the last, but they all have the same ingredients: hilarity, honesty, and family. There is no show that I have laughed harder to and learned more from! And now, with PortCast, Ronnie B (and the entire Bennington Show family) has created the apotheosis of podcasts! He has made his fans family, and all of us cousins are here for this next chapter! Thank you Ronnie B, Gail, Chris, Deb, and everyone who has brought the humanity and humor to the PortCast! Love ya buddays!

Ron Bennington has been unbelievable on radio and performing comedy for 30+ years, including his “Unmasked” series where he interviews EVERY comedian out there and gets behind the on-stage appearance and talks to them about what led them to comedy. The man is brilliant and hilarious! After receiving a stage four colon cancer diagnosis, Ronnie add the “Portcast” where he does a podcast joking and talking about life with other comedians while undergoing cancer treatment. The episodes are hilarious, thought-provoking, and emotional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Also check out The Bennington Show on SiriusXM which is the first father / daughter radio show in history. Also outstanding!
