Loreplay

by Dayna Pereira

Hey there, My Fellow Lore Lovers. Welcome to Loreplay. The show where we dig up haunted history, creepy folklore, and paranormal weirdness and poke it with a stick. I tell you the legend, then I tell you what the actual sources say.. and then we sit together in the gap between the two, because that’s where the good stuff lives. Loreplay is skeptic-meets-believer. I love a ghost story as much as anyone, but I love digging into if we were fed some b******t, or if the sources check out more. If a “fact” has been passed around for 150 years without a single receipt, we’re going to talk about it. We also don’t pretend history was some charming olde timey costume party. A lot of what gets packaged as spooky folklore was really people in power hurting people with none... women burned as witches, the poor locked away, the “different” made into monsters. Loreplay calls that out. Loudly. With jokes. So, to be clear about where this show stands: we’re pro human rights, pro truth, and deeply anti historical b******t. If that bothers you, the door’s right there. Bye Girl.. If you love learning about all the f****d up ways history has historied, and you're ready to use that knowledge as your feral superpower, then welcome! We ride at dawn.

This podcast is truly the most fun! Dayna has the perfect way to deliver all the spooky/funny/out of this world content and I’m obsessed with it!

manda_tee · Nov 2025

Found on Instagram and decided to give the podcast a listen, and I’m glad I did, I love a spooky story (with a healthy dose of realistic skepticism/theories about the subject matter) and these have great humor sprinkled in and just a great storytelling voice to listen to.

Baylee Daily · Oct 2025

Loreplay is the perfect mix of spooky and hilarious! Dayna has such a unique way of blending dark humor, creepy folklore, and paranormal twists that keep you hooked from start to finish. It feels like you’re sitting around with a witty friend telling ghost stories… equal parts chilling and fun. If you love weird legends, haunted history, or just want a binge worthy escape that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this podcast is a must listen!

JcstylesSD · Oct 2025

LorePlay crushed it with the Annabelle doll episode. It’s creepy, fun, and told in a way that will keep you glued the whole time. The details are chilling. If you love spooky stories, you don’t want to miss this one. And Matt Rife, if you’re out there, you might want to tune in too. Annabelle is watching you.
