As I’ve tried to listen to other podcasts with a similar outline,I would find myself quitting my listening to it. But I was incredibly impressed with this production. So well written. Thank you. Your voice and tone are perfect. Lisa S
"She Has A Name" is an exceptional podcast that beautifully uncovers the stories of missing black individuals, shedding light on their lives and the challenges they face. Aunt Valerie's storytelling is not just captivating but also deeply truthful, drawing listeners into the narratives with every word. The bond between Tonya and Antonio is heartwarming and adds a layer of humanity to the podcast, showcasing the power of connection in the face of adversity. The way the podcast frames Anita's story is both poignant and thought-provoking, offering valuable insights into the complexities of her life. Overall, "She Has A Name" is a must-listen for anyone seeking compelling storytelling intertwined with important social issues.
The story is heartbreaking in so many ways, but is also multidimensional, so I understood both the pain & the perseverance of many. This was a tribute & a love story + so many other things. Antonio overcame & he compartmentalized throughout life, but took the time to “unpack” throughout the telling of his story; I hope that he knows he inspired other to do the same.
I really enjoyed this well produced and beautifully written podcast. Thank you for advocating for Anita and all women like her. No one is disposable.
