Interesting, thoughtful, hilarious, and weirdly soothing? Wouldn’t have thought I’d want to listen to two men w/PhDs review SK novels before I fall asleep at night, but here we are. Highly recommend

Listening to this podcast has increased my enjoyment of media across the board. The historical context and techniques of analysis presented here are fantastic tools to be able to apply to other media objects. While it's been slightly disappointing to realize how many shows and movies are essentially bad remixes of compelling pre-existing work, the things that are truly interesting and different now stand taller and shine more brightly in my eyes. 5 stars.

Every time someone mentions reading Stephen King I have to recommend this podcast in return. Cameron and Michael are so enjoyable to listen to that as soon as an episode is over I miss their voices and want to start the next book in my King journey just so I can listen to them again. Their insights and background information on King and the books is fascinating; it is not uncommon for me to enjoy the Just King Things episode more that it’s companion book.

This is the only pod I’ve ever re-listened to episodes of. You guys have gotten me to watch at least 40 Steve adaptations over the past 2 years and I read Salem’s Lot (hey Michael, it’s good…) I read Bag of Bones & It back in the day too. Your chemistry is terrific, you guys are funny and thoroughly entertaining and insightful, and I appreciate this podcast more than I could ever say. I’ve recommended it to at least 15 friends and 1 aunt. Maximum Overdrive is an awful movie though that’s the only thing we disagree on! (But I get it it’s fun, that giant green goblin truck is fun and Lisa Simpson is in it). I think we also love David Lynch equally and I’d love to hear you guys do a limited series pod on his films. I wrote this for Steve!
