An often entertaining and always educational podcast providing sound legal analysis of recent criminal case decisions with commentary informed by experience and current insights into trending federal criminal law practice that we might not otherwise readily find in plain sight. Easy to digest criminal law updates on decisions in criminal law from the Fourth Circuit and SCOTUS.
This pod provides concise legal analysis that cuts to the “why it matters” and “what this means now.” Would really love it if cites for the cases discusses were provided in the show notes. Thanks & keep up the great work!
I’m a state public defender in New England and am also aspiring AFPD. I started listening to this podcast about four or five months ago. It’s a great way to become acquainted with federal criminal law, and it also provides some inspiration for state practice. Excellent discussions about recent cases and not dry at all. Really helpful stuff. I wish they had this in other circuits! Keep up the great work!
