Welcome to The Tara Palmeri Show! Tara Palmeri is one of the most feared and fearless political journalists. As a deeply-sourced reporter, she brings her audience inside the machinations of the highest level of power. Her quick wit and unvarnished reporting goes beyond the headlines, offering a deeper understanding of the intrigues of the permanent political class. This show is not about platitudes. Rather it's about what’s really happening at the highest levels of power and the inside conversation. Tara has covered national politics and foreign affairs for fifteen years. She was formerly a White House Correspondent for ABC News, where she covered the first Trump administration. She was the Chief National Correspondent for POLITICO during the Biden administration. She has been a political analyst for CNBC, CBS and CNN. She’s also worked for the Washington Examiner, the New York Post, POLITICO Europe and Puck, and she hosted The Ringer's election podcast "Somebody's Gotta Win." Tara also hosted two acclaimed podcasts on Jeffrey Epstein called "Broken: Jeffrey Epstein" and "Power: The Maxwells." Tara - I’ve been listening to your podcast ever since it launched last spring. You have an extraordinary way of reporting and holding people’s feet to the fire yet allowing them to speak too. I think you’re ahead of the curve on what topics to report on. You and Julie K Brown are my go to source on all things Epstein. Just listened to your second interview with Andrew Lownie on Andrew Windsor and his arrest. Love how you bring it back to the survivors and honor Virginia Guiffre. 🦋 Keep up the good work!
Tara does real journalism and digs into the major topics of the day. She hosts interviews with guests from all political viewpoints and challenges them to provide real answers. The informative source for what is happening in Washington.
Tara Palmeri brings a rare mix of insider access and fearless reporting. Every episode is packed with sharp political insight, great storytelling, and a refreshing dose of honesty. Can’t recommend it enough!
I am a news junkie but so much of it is giving the same information over and over again. Tara Palmeri has broken the mold by having unique guests and providing a very novel point of view. Tara seems to be both a Washington insider and a Washington outsider. I am learning so much on every episode.
Tara Palmeri is obviously an incredibly smart person and an extremely talented journalist, but this podcast feed is just a personal scrapbook of all the various interviews she does, chopped together and remonetized. There’s a precooked one-sentence intro and outro, and otherwise there are no transitions, no outline, ad breaks land mid-word and mid-sentence, and the clips aren’t even equalized to each other. I listen once in awhile when I’ve exhausted every podcast on Crooked Media and NPR, and I think about writing this very review every single time.
I really wanted to like this podcast. There have been some great episodes, I want to support women-led independent journalism, and I really enjoyed her interview on The Larry Wilmore Show. I also think her reporting on the Epstein case has been phenomenal. That said, I just can’t get past what feels like a consistently strong anti-Israel slant. Given how much misinformation I’ve seen in coverage of the middle east wars, I come away from this podcast feeling like I’m not getting the full story. There have also been factual errors that weren’t corrected, including referencing the wrong country in a previous episode. In the latest episode, she referred to “Democratic leader” Hasan Piker which made me question the whole thing. There are so many excellent news podcasts out there today that accuracy and professionalism really matter. I hope the show invests in stronger fact-checking and tighter editorial standards, because I’d happily tune back in if it does. But for now, it’s just not worth my time.
