came to this show as a big fan of first-person account podcasts like Radio Rental, Unnerved, and Otherworld. Based on the description, I was expecting a similar style of focused, immersive storytelling.
Instead, the format is very conversational with a "locker room" banter style. For me, that completely breaks the immersion—especially when dealing with heavy themes like paranormal encounters, strange events, or near-death experiences. Having serious or unsettling stories paired with constant background laughing and banter felt off-tone and awkward.
If you like casual, chatty host reactions over serious topics, you might enjoy this. But if you're looking for atmospheric, engrossing first-person narrative audio, this host style probably isn't for you.
