Your hosts, Jillian of Studio Soprano and Moriah of Moriah Creates, are two letterpress printers who believe in sharing their knowledge and learning together. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between this antique printing method and modern design. We've poured through the forums, asked the experts, and learned some things first hand. They aren’t as strong on printing history, but that’s not their gig, so don’t judge them too harshly, fellow nerds. Come for the insight on the letterpress stationary business as it functions today, stay for the good vibes and printing love. Hot Off the Press Pod is such an incredible resource for new and seasoned letterpress printers alike. Jillian & Moriah are open, funny, and a breath of fresh air in an industry that can be anything but. They’re thorough in their research and their lack of gate keeping make this podcast one you’ll actively listen and pay attention to (no background noise here) — it’s that good.
