What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

one of the best comics podcasts I know ! when I dont know the guest I still know I’ll enjoy the interview <3

kiara.lalala · Jan 2026

There a quite a few comic podcasts out there, but this is one of the best. David Harper is a passionate and knowledgeable interviewer. His questions are thoughtful and lead to deep and insightful conversations, and he gets some great guests. His recent interview with DC editor Chris Conroy was a special highlight. Anyone worried that the Vertigo relaunch is a cash grab off some unused IP need only listen to learn Chris has a deep love and appreciation for the history of Vertigo and has put a lot of thought and effort into a relaunch that will live up to that history. Okay, that one’s fresh in my mind bc it’s the last one I listened to, but every episode has featured great guests and a clear love and passion for comics.

Andy Nordvall · Nov 2025

Great interviewer and basically all the big names in comics are interviewed here. Deep looks behind the curtains at all aspect of the industry. I’m both overjoyed and overwhelmed at the fact that there are like 450 more episodes for me to listen to.

David Harper, 2024 Eisner nominated (the “Oscars of comics”) for his work on SKTCHD, is incredibly knowledgable about comics past & present, as well as the process of taking comics stories from inspiration to eyeball. His guests are some of the best & brightest comicsfolk in the universe. His interviews are fun, informative, and thought provoking. An indispensable resource for anyone who wants to work in conics, and also just marvelous for *anyone* who loves comics.
