Good Grief with Amanda Kloots

by Dear Media

How can our hardest chapters teach us how to live? Good Grief, hosted by Emmy-nominated television host, fitness entrepreneur, bestselling author, and widow, Amanda Kloots, is a heartfelt exploration into what happens after life changes forever. Through conversations with celebrities, experts, and everyday people, Amanda takes a look at the many forms of grief we experience: the loss of a loved one, a marriage, a career, a dream, or even a sense of home. These vulnerable and uplifting conversations invite guests to share how they navigated their hardest chapters and found a way to move forward: not by leaving grief behind, but instead by carrying it with them in a new way.  Amanda also shares the life-changing lessons she learned after the loss of her husband in 2020. Join Amanda and her guests as they share their “Good Grief Moments” — the unexpected gifts, lessons, and perspectives that have changed their lives after loss.

Like everything Amanda does, this is such a thoughtful sincere and AUTHENTIC podcast. She carefully selects guests with whom she shares a very cool rapport, and the convo feels so natural. Before you know it, it’s over and you actually learned something and laughed and smiled. Never a bad idea to listen to one of these episodes!

Astudymuddy · Aug 2026

As a therapist I work with clients who are challenged by all kinds of grief and who deal with it (or don’t deal with it) in all kinds of ways. Amanda has given me a fresh lens on working with this “unpredictable emotion” that has already helped a number of my clients. Amanda’s reframe of grief as a roommate that she has learned to love is a beautiful way to look for the beauty and the “good” in grief that moves in whether you want it to or not. Looking forward to unpacking more of these episodes with Amanda and her guests.
