A famed lost spaceship, the USS HOPE, returns to Earth after vanishing thirty-five years prior. The lone survivor (Richard Madden) disembarks mysteriously looking the exact same age as when he left. Following the ensuing media chaos, he finally reunites with his formerly identical twin brother (now an old man) for a one-on-one meeting. But what starts as a joyful reconciliation soon leads to dark revelations that threaten their relationship -- and the future of humanity. I’m usually not very into Sci-fis, let alone in podcast form, but this one is genuinely one of my favorites! The voice acting, effects, storyline, it’s all very fell done, and I’m excited for the possibility of season two already :]

I'm pretty big into scifi and this was enjoyable. As always from Cqode some great acting and sound design. Just wish the last ep didn't feel a bit rushed. Overall though I was hooked. I'l be checking out the bonus content! :D

I gave only 4 stars because the end was confusing and, in my opinion, kinda weak… having said that, the story is amazing and the sound effects are at another level. Im fairly new to this type of podcasts but ive heard a couple of them and the sound engeniers of this one, they really know what they’re doing. I’ve listened with my airpods pro with ANC and Spatial Sterio turned on and it made a whole experience out of it. I would love to hear more from the people who made this. Like i said, the only reason i gave 4 stars is because of the ending, it didnt felt like an ending and quite frankly that last episode seemed rushed… maybe it needed like 1 or 2 more episodes to really close the whole story, but thats just me nip picking… all and all the story was good, the voices were great and the sound effects are ON POINT!!!

If you’re a fan of classic sci-fi like Asimov, Heinlein, etc. this very much feels like a short story in that vein. It has excellent sound production, great voice acting, and an intriguing story. Folks say they want more, and I get that, but this project is so jam-packed with excitement over 6 episodes that I really can’t ask for a lot more.

QCODE is known for high quality production and excellent stories. Unfortunately, this one doesn’t hold up to their other productions. Sound quality is great, as expected, but the story and characters are severely lacking. There’s been only one other QCODE show I disliked, Ghost Tape, but now they have some company and are no longer alone as a QCODE production I genuinely did not enjoy. Better luck next time QCODE. I know season 2’s aren’t normally your thing but if you get the urge to go for one, please don’t dedicate that effort toward this show; this one can stay buried.

I love Qcode. I love science fiction, and in a sea of sci-fi audio dramas, this one stands out; it’s easily among my top three.
Considering this, it is at best an annoyance when I go to introduce it to my son - we listen to podcast ADs each night as he is falling asleep - and find that the first episode has disappeared so that you can advertise your new show.
