Very informative with supporting documentation for those who actually want to know about what’s going on in congress!!!
Jen Briney does what she does so we don’t have to! Most of her episodes are about bills up for vote in Congress, and yes, she actually reads them! Then she summarizes it in a clear and succinct manner so you know all you need to know just by listening to a podcast. An invaluable, yet entertaining, service that deserves wider recognition.
Jen reports the news in a thorough well researched way. Her latest release about the timeline of January 6th should be a Netflix documentary. (Can anyone on here make that happen!!?) It blows my mind how much Jen reports that is not covered on main stream media. She is thoughtful, clear, concise and has taught me so much about Congress and what goes on during the endless hours of congressional hearings this woman watches! Thank you for the well researched and important information you share! I highly recommend you listen, especially those of you who are unfamiliar with how our government works. You are sure to learn a lot!
The information in Congressional Dish is outstanding. I’ve listened for the last year and now have a much better sense of what is happening in the US government, especially in foreign policy. The host is compelling to listen speaker and even though I don’t agree with her on everything, she cites her sources so thoroughly that you end up very familiar with the issues at hand.
I was really excited to stumble upon this podcast and had high hopes, but was very let down. In the episode I listened to she doesn’t even get into any real content until 17 minutes in. And even then, it was just a lot of talking without any real substance. I would pass.
