This is a great source for anyone who wants detailed info on China and the effect it is having on the world today. Excellent and knowable interviewers connecting with top notch experts in a variety of subfields of Chinese foreign policy. As a professor in that field myself, I think this is a great resource for students and faculty alike.

Unique in that both international and Chinese scholars are featured. Provides a new perspective on Chinese foreign policy that can't be found with other podcasts and is a top source for understanding China's Growing Role in the world.

I enjoy how the guests of this podcast have extensive experience actually working in the region and that their related background is described in the course of the conversation. I mention this specifically because it is not always the case that podcasts/news segments focusing on China include these aspects. ---Kori Cooper

It started great, and I wanted to like this podcast. Midway through the show, I was listening to; I knew that this was just some academics spitballing ideas on how to force change on China. It presented itself as a balanced, unbiased podcast on developing cooperation between nations. Still, it quickly degraded into how we can contain China and enact regime change—holding the view that a relationship between the USA and China should mainly exist on the USA's terms.
