Thrilled to have found this podcast! The hosts have such thorough knowledge of all things Beatles and include primary sources like interviews and excerpts found in no other podcasts. I especially appreciate that the entire songs are played (why would you stop a Beatles’ song?) and the deep dive interpretations that follow. The hosts are respectful of each other and the banter is smart and witty. Each episode represents a professional product that begins and ends with quality content, and you might find yourself listening to many of them twice to not miss “every little thing!’
I just discovered this podcast recently. Really enjoying their deep dive and look at the Get Back film. It’s clear these guys really know their subject …and also have a deep love for the Beatles. True fans who also know their subject very well,
This was my first time listening to the podcast. Enjoyed the review of Beatles For Sale(or Beatles 6). What many consider the weakest album in the catalog, I have always liked. The covers are better than the originals, George’s guitar playing is solid, and Ringo’s drumming is top notch. Great job, and I look forward to listening to the rest of the casts
I really enjoyed this episode about Stuart Sutcliffe. I knew almost nothing about him and this really inspired me to learn more. His influence on Lennon was very strong. Great podcast.
This WAS a great podcast. I often listen to old favorite episodes like the two episodes covering the Beatles on tv. I loved hearing the rare interview clip of John and Paul talk with the PBS host in May 1968. They took the interview seriously, but still had fun-Just like this podcast, serious yet fun. Unfortunately, it’s not happening anymore. Bring back the Beatles Naked… please.
But now it’s all teasers directing you to the Patreon paywall where the actual content resides. At $240 a year it’s one of the most expensive if you want all the content. I love the Beatles and have been a fan for 55+ years but I can’t justify the cost.
