Blackwood - Podcast Rankings and reviews

I’m a bit of a podcast snob. I love the idea of podcasts, but I have a hard time finding content that actually gets me invested. However, Blackwood had me hooked from the start. Once I started I couldn’t bring myself to stop listening! I can honestly say that this podcast is the best I have ever found. The production quality is high, the story is incredible, the characters are easy to connect with, and it does not try to compensate for lack of creativity through excessive language. I cannot express how impressed I am with Blackwood. I hope to see it resurrected for another season soon!

This was the perfect podcast for Halloween. I thought the story, though a potentially predictable and overdone premise, was compelling and still surprising. I feel like there are still a lot of questions I want answered, and I very much hope for a second season to binge soon.

Quick to absorb. Good voice acting. Great story. If you’re fine with open ended ending go for it. Hopefully they re-visit it in the future.

I had heard poor things about this podcast, so I didn’t make a point to listen. I’m glad I did, definitely worth a listen. Interesting themes that don’t rely on easy ways out like other horror/drama podcasts.

I would listen to a second season.
