At This Moment with Jim Jefferies & Amos Gill

I don’t write reviews ever, but I will for these guys cause I really love the new show. As an American, It’s nice to have a comedy news podcast from an Australian perspective. Jim and Amos are hilarious and they dont just echo one another’s opinions, but spend most of the time in disagreement with I appreciate. Keep it up, thanks.

I’ve been a massive fan of Jim Jefferies since before he even had the Jim Jefferies Show - so I’ll listen to ANY podcast he ever does. He’s just freaking HYSTERICAL. That being said, Amos Gill’s comedy is new to me. We have quite different societal and political views, so I doubt I’ll ever be a super fan of his - but he and Jim play off each other so well, especially when they’re doing their hilarious South African accents. But what’s made me love this new podcast so soon is the fact that they’re so committed to comedy and GLORIOUS PETTINESS, they dedicated an entire episode to apologizing for their alleged “defamation” of The Village People’s song YMCA. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, just listen to the episode (or better yet, watch it on YouTube) - I don’t promise you won’t regret it!!

Without a doubt, Jim Jefferies is one of the quickest, wittiest comedians out there, albeit profane. The format of the podcast plays to his sharp and comedic genius. Every topic, regardless of what it is turns out to be hilarious. The co-hosts have brilliant chemistry with him but know he’s running the show and let the jokes roll. Definitely adults-only content. One of the best comedy podcasts out there. LISTEN!

If you like to learn stuff from genuine folks who seem to want us all to be an idiot just a little bit less often this show’s for you - with one exception - if you hate to laugh and can’t stand a decent time, definitely stay away. If I had to offer any critique I would only ask that Forrest pretend that people are interested in the back half of his sentences too. Keep them decibels up for us, ya grumbly bear!

I love Jim Jeffries but it’s SO frustrating hearing him interrupt and cut off guests all the time. He does it SO much. I took a break from the show and came back and it’s still just as annoying. It makes it hard to listen to, and I think im done.
