What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I love this fun and informative podcast because it frames travel as something real people can do without needing piles of cash. It’s my own philosophy, too. We have been a traveling family for decades and are better world citizens for it!

Been a listener since 2018, and Jason never disappoints. The wide variety of the types of shows and the things he covers by far makes this the best travel podcast out there not only that, but he’s been extremely consistent and this has always been one of the best parts of my week! Thank you Jason! Keep doing you, whatever that means to you!

Bmore is Best · Dec 2025

I started listening to the Zero to Travel podcast back in 2016, right before I sold everything and set off on a world trip that turned in to a nomad life. This podcast was a guiding light during that huge transition, and it has remained a staple in my life ever since. The stories, insights, and inspiration have walked with me through years of full-time nomadic life, starting in 2017 and continuing to today—now with me living in Egypt. Jason has a gift for connecting with travelers at every stage of the journey. His conversations aren’t just about travel logistics; they’re about the deeper layers of life on the road, following your calling, and creating a lifestyle by design. Along the way, I’ve even met other travelers through the podcast and community, which makes the experience even more meaningful. If you’re dreaming about travel, preparing for a big leap, or already living nomadically, this podcast will inspire you, challenge you, and make you feel less alone. Zero to Travel is so much more than a podcast—it’s a community and a compass.

Jason! Still loving your podcast :-) I just listened to the most recent episode on Scotland. I spent a couple of weeks in the Highlands last year and agree that it’s absolutely wonderful. I just got back from Wales where I was hiking the Llyn peninsula of the Wales Coast Trail, which I would highly recommend. For the entire duration, I only met three other hikers – that section was 132 miles – so for anyone who wants to beat the crowds of other more famous UK hikes, this was an amazing option :-) Just thought I’d throw this recommendation out there! Keep up the good work :-)
