I have so much fun listening to these episodes. I don’t get to go to theme parks as much as I wish I did, so I get to live vicariously through this podcast. It is fun and upbeat, and I wish Carlye were my real life friend - the way she dishes the news and her honest opinions, it feels like she is. Also love the listener calls and the voicemails from her mom. So sweet.

I feel like Carlye is a friend even though I’ve not met her! I was listening to the favorite Disney restaurants episode from March just now! Love the recommendations! I also love Akershus breakfast though it wasn’t one of the ones mentioned! The specialty cheese and dips are incredible! It’s my favorite character meal. I also love Topolinos bc you can get amazing pics with the characters- it’s so light and bright! Garden grill felt a little claustrophobic to us- we have a family of 5… but it was cute! I love the characters over at crystal palace breakfast too! So cute!

Long time, first time. I started following Carlye years ago before the podcast, so it was easy to hop on this wild, popcorn fueled train. I've been entertained, educated, and enlightened throughout the years. Couldn't recommend this podcast enough. Are Carlye and I besties? Yes. Is that friendship exclusively in my head because she's so relatable? Also yes.

Normally I give a show 3 listens to decide whether I continue to listen. I barely made it through one episode. Her enthusiasm is laudable, but I could not handle an hour of it. She seems nice and love the honest sometimes unpopular opinions on theme park attractions, but she needs to keep moral and political opinions to herself. One off and derogatory reference to JKR was okay, but 3-4 in one show was too much. I listen to theme park podcasts to escape the real world.

Carlye is clearly passionate about this topic and this space. As I’ve been preparing for my first DCL experience, I’ve dove into many of her episodes. I have to listen at 1.5 speed to help mitigate some of the choices around vocal tone and frankly to focus quickly on the content and get past the vocal intonation choices. I appreciate how positive she is but it’s almost like when you have a cupcake with too much frosting. I agree with others that the opening is grating and not charming. I think it’s a wonderful thing to bring sweetness and whimsy to a podcast, but the amount and how it’s applied takes away from the content and makes it difficult to listen.
