Despite the long biography, the ep. Greatest Lie Ever Told was comprised primarily of broad assertions without specific examples that would have helped anchor the discussion. One example that was given, that troublemakers added subsaharan data to 23andMe, based on my own research, turned out to be an unsupported debunked hoax. I guess Elon was wrong about this pod, unless you are into confirmation bias.

“Witches were burnt because they were destroying the shared, collective health of the society through their nihilism.” 15 minutes in on the episode titled, “The Coming Psychological Black Death.” Ok, there’s a lot to unpack there. First of all, do you have any evidence that witches were nihilists? In my experience they tend to go in rather the opposite direction. Secondly is nihilism a hanging offense? This guy likes to talk about a whole lot of subjects that he clearly doesn’t have a good handle on. In his more recent episodes he has been leaning towards supernatural subjects where this really becomes obvious. In “explaining ancient forbidden teachings.” His idea of the difference between black magic and white magic is wildly incorrect. In short, the difference between white magic and black magic is much simpler than the convoluted thing he describes related to the will of God. Black magic is anything that violates the free will of one or more sentient entities. And white magic is everything else.

I’m impressed with the knowledge he’s accumulated, mostly from reading, and the unexpected wisdom from someone so young to be able to use history to explain so many of the problems vexing modern people and societies. I think his knowledge presented so cogently will help us steer away from the traps which generations of leftists have set to capture young minds and emotions (often for life) and for everyday people to regain rationality and pursue life with purpose, optimism and energy.
