If you’re an entrepreneur, How to Take Over the World by Ben Wilson is a must listen. It’s like a self help business podcast wrapped in fascinating stories from history’s greatest figures. Ben does an incredible job of breaking down what made these people so successful and turning their stories into lessons you can use today. It’s engaging, easy to follow, and packed with real takeaways. If you want a mix of history, inspiration and practical advice, this podcast is perfect.

The best thing about this podcast is that Ben does a great job staying on point and doesn’t go on tangents. He never over talks key points. When the episode starts, he doesn’t do some mysterious build up but rather he just gets right into it. At the end, he’ll do a nice wrap up highlighting some important key points to remember. Seriously, Ben, I’m telling you, I am picky with what I listen to and this podcast is spot on. Great job! 10/10

Quickly rose to be one of my top 3 podcasts I cycle through every week, after hearing about it from the Cost of Glory podcast.

As a history buff, mainly came from the heroes of old, but was pleasantly surprised by the lives of more modern figures like Rockefeller and Disney. Favorite episodes were the Founding Fathers.

If you’re reading this Ben, keep up the good work, and perhaps make a note that at least one listener would love an episode on the Crusader knights… stories taken straight out of Lord of the Rings. Richard the Lionheart, or Baldwin II would be great picks.

I always wondered how so many people got into podcasts because I had tried and tried for years to get into different ones. Needless to say, this one is my favorite. History lessons on world leaders, innovators and industry disrupters with a conclusion of key characteristics that these great people possessed provides a clear vision on how you can apply those lessons and characteristics in your own life right now.
So glad I found this!
