Losing Anthony Slater was a big loss for this pod, his insider information and analysis of the team was perfect with Tim and Marcus’s stronger views. But the addition of Nick Friedell on the show is worse than the Slater loss. He doesn’t seem to have any grasp on both the team and the fanbase. He’s completely out of touch with the fanbase where he doesn’t understand some of the criticisms that the fanbase has about the team and instead just gaslights them. It’s one thing to critique the team/fanbase but it’s another thing to not understand their perspectives as a team reporter and then forming baseless opinions. The duo show with Tim and Marcus is still a solid show even without Slater.

Although he said he wouldn't get a webby for this solo episode about Draymond/Steve Kerr latest drama, he got my webby for it. Simultaneously free wheeling and acutely perceptive, MT is in a class unto himself. He keeps it real, is funny as hell, and really really knows the game. Thanks Marcus for cutting this pod at 2:30 AM. There is no other sports writer who I so often share with my friends, and this show was a good demonstration why. We are lucky to have you doing just what you do, just like you do.

Of all the warrior information online, from radio to other podcasts, this is the first one I listened to smart, insightful, funny. These guys know what they’re talking about without being fanboys

As a long time listener and fan, It’s difficult to listen to with Slater gone and Marcus on a fraction of the episodes. Friedell and Tim tend to speak down on the eagerness of the fan base and don’t provide the insight the pod has provided in prior years. There’s no real substance to this and you can tell that Tim and Friedell treat and consider this as something they have to do instead of want to do. It used to be the first thing I listen to when I saw a new episode, but that’s no longer the case. I would be more interested in a separate Marcus pod.
