The NBA is fantastic content and always good drama. The Hosts are obviously well-sourced and very knowledgeable about both in-game stuff and league stuff. Hoop Collective is a very compelling discussion and strong analysis, but not very good chemistry between the hosts. You guys need to stop interrupting each other every other sentence. No one is ever allowed to finish their point lol. Thats what makes it sometimes hard to follow. But overall a fun pod.

This podcast is great at covering many of the behind the scenes moments in the NBA. The insider coverage is honest and fair. One issue is that Windy sometimes talks over the guests or cuts them off outright. It keeps guests from finishing their thought. Other than that, it’s fantastic.

One of the best nba pods out there, but please, reserve special guests and what not for the mid week episodes. The Monday and Friday pods should be the core group recapping the weekend and summing up the work week. M-F workers have trouble keeping up with the league bc of how games are scheduled

I love this podcast. Windhorst, Bontemps and McMahon appear to have a great personal relationship which manifests itself in the actual podcast. They’re funny, plugged in and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that Bontemps refers to virtually every player by their first name. That’s annoying but it’s still a great podcast

I owe the SWB a deep and sincere apology. I never realized how much he held this podcast together. Vince Goodwill is an awful fit for Hoop Collective. Every discussion gets hijacked into a forced hot take, he argues for the sake of arguing, “sources” feel and sound as if they are his twitter, and he strips all the nuance out of what used to be one of the smartest NBA podcasts around. This isn’t First Take—or at least it never used to be… Windy and MacMahon tee him up with easy layups, and somehow every conversation still ends up off the rails. And the intro catchphrase… please, for everyone’s sake, stop trying to be a mash-up of MacMahon and Stephen A. The last two weeks have been painful, and I have seen it all after being a listener for the last 6+ years (5 stars always). Need to find someone else for the third chair.

It’s a decent show, potential to be good and sort of scratches the itch now that the Lowe Post is gone. I believe it’s Tim Bontemps but one of the frequent guests (the one who has the most echo in his microphone) constantly interrupts and comes in with an aggressive/combative tone which makes this show harder to listen
