This comment is meant to be constructive. While the content is mostly good, this podcast is hard to listen to because they don’t appear to have anyone on their team that understands the importance of the quality of broadcasting. They sorely need an engineer that can help them with this. Also, they need a speech coach that can help them improve their broadcast voices. Ethan, for example, swallows his words and can be unintelligible sometimes. Slow down and speak your words clearly. Finally, veering into politics is a bad move. You will lose listeners.

I used to really enjoy this network, but lately, it feels like emotions get in the way of objective analysis—especially when it comes to the Heat. The younger hosts bring a fresh perspective, but some of the others tend to be overly defensive when any criticism comes up. A lot of their takes come straight from the organization sources, without much consideration for the players’ side of things. It makes sense why players might not engage with local media if they feel their words could be used against them later. Even if they do speak, they rip apart their story by just stating what the organization tells them as if it is the sole truth. If the coverage were a bit more balanced and less reactionary and emotional, it would be much easier to listen to. Criticism to the organization is a part of the game, whether you’re a fan or not. Hope they reevaluate themselves.

I’ve been a listener for years and love the content, Brady’s great, etc. The constant audio issues this year has me turning elsewhere. Them making light of people’s mics being muted all the time or helicoptering is getting annoying. I hope they make some big adjustments as I want to keep listening.
