What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Jenn Larges host voice and knowledge is excellent to listen to and her general contractors and tradesmen are so witty and make home improvement so much fun to troubleshoot. Bob Villa would be proud of a podcast version of his 1970s show.

Sam Lacan · Jun 2026

Good information, engaging hosts and guests. But in the last couple of months I’ve noticed several shows that have some or all segments recycled from previous episodes. That’s fine but the newer episodes need to be labeled as “repeat” or “encore” or something. Very disappointing.

DtGrl · Feb 2026

Love this show & I am not even a proficient home repair enthusiast, but I gain a bit of knowledge listening to it. Especially love the “My Old House”, real estate & tip of the week segments. Just a great show!

Frances Arleen · Nov 2025

I recently discovered the This Old House Radio Hour podcast and thought it might be worth a listen. The current episode included a DIY tip for fixing gaps that develop in floating plank flooring. Brilliant! No more gaps and I didn’t have to spend $$$ on a pro. Interesting is great, helpful is fabulous!
