A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I’m a big fan of all things Joe Gardener. The TV shows, the website, the Online Gardening Academy and the podcast. Episode 199 was the most informative gardening podcast I’ve ever listed to. Jim Gerritsen was amazing, so knowledgeable and presented the information in a way that any level of gardener could understand. Joe was masterful in guiding the conversation, as always, but pound for pound - this was Joe’s best podcast ever! P

Bill Waters @masterful_gardens · Aug 2026

I have been a dedicated listener of the Joe Gardener show for 3 years now. I am impressed with the consistent quality of Joe’s knowledge and that of his guests. I enjoy the range of subjects covered and the way that the podcast includes practical advice, deep research and true love for our environment! With so much misinformation on social media, I value trustworthy podcasts. This is the only podcast I want to listen to while gardening: nothing else competes with birdsongs while I’m in my happy place. (Which is 10 acres in northeast Ohio, including fruit trees, berries, grapes and a 70x70 ft no-dig organic vegetable, herb and flower garden.)

Molly M3 · Jun 2025

Joe is a great and appealing host, and has an easy banter to help explain how to grow healthy plants and love doing it. But he’s so much more. He is a naturalist who is very boldly using his platform to help us all understand our role in preserving and restoring the nature we’re losing. Thanks to the whole team!

That Trippi Show · May 2025

I’ve been listening for years and never miss an episode. Each and every one has something for me to learn, even the ones that don’t apply to my growing zone. Thank you for always finding new & tried/true things to discuss and make us think!
