There is not enough THANK YOUs in the world to express my gratitude. As a person with ADHD, I find this the perfect podcast for body doubling!!! I feel like Raani is right there with a cup of coffee sharing tips and talking about daily life. Thank you so very much!!! If I could send a hug through a review it would feel like this!!!!
I clean my best when I am able to body double but it’s really hard to coordinate time to have a friend come over or do a video call. Your podcast is amazing at making me feel like there is someone there with me keeping my motivation in check. Thank you for all of the reminders and tips, there are great!
Clean With Me has been a serious game-changer and is quickly becoming my favorite thing ever! I’m living alone for the first time, and I suffer from severe executive dysfunction due to autism and ADHD. I know how to clean well, and it’s something I really enjoy doing, but finding the motivation without external pressure is almost impossible for my brain. Since I’ve started cleaning along with Raani, motivation comes easily, my space is the cleanest it’s ever been, and I actually want to keep it up daily! I started listening to this podcast in late fall, when my parents were coming in from out of state to visit. Talk about crawling out of a hole! I used to be so embarrassed by my messy home and never wanted to invite anyone over, but now my house is almost always ready for guests in just 15 minutes! I have a hybrid job at my church where I only go in for work three days a week. When I get home from work, her speed cleaning episodes are the perfect transition for me. On days when I work from home, one of the first things I do in the morning is turn on a longer episode. It gets me going for the rest of the day (which is so helpful because I used to just sit around in my pj’s until late afternoon/early evening when the guilt was the only motivator to get moving). I love that Raani walks me through what needs to be done in the most realistic timeline. (It’s almost always perfect timing, but that challenges me to finish sooner so I can do a “bonus task.”) If only she had episodes for self-care tasks like skin care, showering, etc. 😂 A couple of weeks ago, I finally subscribed for access to the longer, more detailed episodes. Living by myself on a ministry income makes things tight, but the cost was low enough to plan and budget for. Because the regular episodes have genuinely changed the flow of my day-to-day life for the better, made me more productive at work, improved my social life, and replaced my negative self-talk with confidence in knowing I can take care of my home, subscribing was a no-brainer and one of the best things I could have done for myself!
Raani is a very important part of my day. The show jumps right in, gets to the point, and it touches on everything from speed cleaning to a whole home declutter and deep clean! I’ve listened to this podcast for about a year, and moved about 6 mos ago. After moving in to our new home, things were a bit chaotic. Thanks to you girls, I was able to grab tasks and stay focused while settling my family into a new city, and home! So grateful for you, Raani & your daughter! Keep it up, and please, please know that you’re appreciated by many!
I really wanted to like this podcast, host seems nice (we clearly don’t share the same belief system, but who cares) and while the basics are mostly there, I want her to say “pause here and go do step one” and then all the subsequent steps, but there is a LOT of rambling and repeating. 12 minutes into a 20-minute Clean the Bathroom episode, and we’re talking about how we specifically curl our bangs (and that’s why there’s a curling iron in the bathroom, which we need to move before we start scrubbing). Ugh. Desperately needs an editor, or at least a little advanced prep.
