Love this podcast and listened for years. It truly helps me fall asleep and feel engaged to the story. The current reading is so loud and intense in moments that continuing the story defeats the purpose of the podcast. While I can appreciate Elizabeth trying to use different voices and tone to flesh out the characters, I want that calm, clear and balanced voice that’s been so consistent all this time even more. Thank you.

I love this podcast! It always does the trick when I can’t sleep! Your voice is amazing, but has something changed with the background music? When I listen in Apple it now sounds like a sort of eerie space music instead of the calming music I am used to. Don’t notice that when I switch to Spotify?

My favorite! I’ve listened to the same things so many times and I don’t remember them because I always fall asleep. Elizabeth reads so well and no mouth noises—really none. I don’t always like when people do voices but I LOVE her voices! Especially piglet and the bear prince (you’ll see when you hear them).

There are LOUD ads. They moved them to the beginning of each episode. The problem is that when you play a book through the night, you are still startled awake between episodes on auto-play. I would subscribe, but the price is ridiculous. If it was about 50% of the current price I might be able to afford it. Even the annual cost is just too much.

I have listened to and loved this podcast for about two years and recommended it to everyone I know. I hate to have to give such a low rating, but the loud ads at the beginning of the episode are a complete turn off for me. To go from Elizabeth’s soothing voice to the super loud advertisements, with literal dogs barking at times, is jarring and throws off the whole listening experience. I understand that ads are necessary for the free version of the podcast, but if there’s a way for them to be read in Elizabeth’s voice, which was done in earlier episodes, that would be much better. Until then, I’ll have to find another podcast to help me fall asleep at night.
