Love the long form stories but be warned on episode 18 there are some very graphic descriptions of animal cruelty. It is a horror podcast so I am not complaining. I just fast forward through that scene. Keep up the great narration. Love your shows
I started listening when Jason Hill was the host and I fell deep into the rabbit hole of Horror Hill. Recommend 13 outta 10 for sure. One day, and I missed any explanation if any was given, a new voice emerged from the darkness. Enter Eric Peabody. I loved the show so much that I couldn’t walk away without giving it the chance and respect to see how the show would go moving forward. Needless to say, I still haven’t missed an episode. I’d love a visit from Jason as a guest (at least) host sometime soon. But Mr. Peabody; Bravo sir! Jason Hill left big shoes to fill. You’ve proven yourself to have large feet for shoe filling. Keep bring the Creep and I’ll keep having nightmare fueled sleep. And love you for every single one. Much love and respect!!!
I really enjoy the stories. The voice work is awesome. I have the podcast running the background while I work; the stories really make the day fly by. One of the best Horror anthology podcast on apple.
The host Eric Peabody does a nice job narrating and is easily the best part of this podcast, but dear god, the amount of ads. I understand the nature of wanting to direct listeners to your Patreon, but guys come on now. The vast amount of time spent on ads mid story and the incredibly odd spots that are chosen to break for said ads make the podcast almost unlistenable at times. Good job Eric, keep up the great work and producers of the show, at least be more reasonable about when you break for seven minutes plus of ads mid story.
This is definitely NOT a horror story podcast. The stories are mostly suspense, or creepy but not horror. The stories have a Twilight Zone feel, very detailed (some overly descriptive) and then leave you hanging with endings left to interpretation, or very anticlimactic. Brief example, kid goes into an abandoned mansion in his neighborhood, and can’t get out. That’s it, no horror. I gave it a shot, but it’s not for me. I’m sure others will enjoy. If you want real horror, listen to A Ghost Ruined My Life.
