The Red Weather

I enjoy a true crime tv show every now and again. As I was catching up on the Pod Meets World episodes, I decided to give this a listen. I was hooked from the beginning. I loved being able to relate to local places as a Bay Area native. It was absolutely hard to determine the reality from the fiction. It even had me googling up the information to see who it was about. Having your family portray themselves really threw me for a loop too. It was so well written and I was never bored. I was absolutely blown away by the plot twists. The ending left me wanting more and a further follow up. It gives “13 reasons why” vibes which I loved. Thank you Rider Strong for creating such an amazing piece of work. It really shows how much you cared about this project. I can’t wait to hear more works from you.

5 Stars! Rider has an undeniable knack for writing. I was enthralled by The Red Weather; every episode delivered. I can see this being an Apple TV+ show. If another story/mystery comes out, I’m tuning in!

A really well written true crime/mystery podcast. The only negative thing I have to say it was hard at first to talk myself into the fact that it was fiction. There were ties to the real world and I kept having to tell myself that none of this was real. But the story will suck you in. Great job

A great podcast that twists and turns in so many ways to always keep you guessing. If you know Rider’s backstory then this is really amazing how he combines real life and fiction together into a truly immersive story.
