What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

If photography is your bag then this is the place to be. Neale has a very special way of making it all feel like a warm conversation amongst friends. One of my favorite podcasts of all time.

Truth4all · Jun 2026

Long time listener, and I cannot tell you how much joy, comfort and wisdom I garner from Neale’s content. He has a way with guests, putting them at ease and helping to bring out the best in them to make for compelling storytelling. Even if you’re not a shooter, there’s something here for you. From Barney’s barks to the leaves beneath his feet, Neal manages to make each episode a sketch unto itself. It’s one of my happy places.

Fotos Finos · Feb 2026

I love this podcast! Out of all the photography podcasts I’ve listened to, this one brings me joy! Neale’s excitement is contagious and I typically listen to it while I’m out on my daily walk. I recently grabbed my camera and went walking on a wooded trail. The entire time I could hear Neale’s voice in my head. I wondered what Neale would see on my walk. He’s made me stop and enjoy the little things. Keep up the good work. A fan from the USA

TamHam71 · Nov 2025

I’ve listened to a lot of photography podcasts, and while I enjoy many of them, often they are very gear-centric. Others are interview-centric. Photowalk is the only one that takes me on a photographic journey each week. The framework of going on a photowalk through the English countryside, interlaced with an outstanding interview with a well-known, or not so well-known but highly interesting and accomplished, photographer just works. Neale’s interview tone and style is highly informed, but easy going. It’s a very pleasant way to spend and hour or more each new episode. And in our turbulent and chaotic times, there’s an uplifting tenor to the show that’s very calming. Five easy stars!
