David Ridgen always reports with such incredible empathy, understanding, patience, and care. There really isn’t anyone else like him in the podcast world. You can hear and feel how thoughtfully he investigates each case. We need more sensitivity in the true crime podcast world and to remember that these are real people and real lives lost and effected. You never forget that when you listen to a David Ridgen case. Thanks for all that you do David!

I’ve been a fan of David Ridgen since discovering Someone Knows Something. He has such respect and sympathy for the stories, the victims, and their families. You can tell he does these podcasts to truly help and not just chasing podcast fame. When The Next Call came out, I hesitated only because my biggest peeve on a podcast is when they interview someone over the phone. With other podcasts, the quality of recording phone calls is always horrific and I can barely understand them. That is NOT the case with The Next Call. I’m only a few episodes in but blown away with the high quality in which David records the calls. 10/10 podcasting. Excited for more from David Ridgen

David Rigden could read a calculus book and I’d listen to his voice. But more importantly, he cares about people. He shows empathy and compassion like no other host I’ve listened to. He dives in 100% into any story he does. Thus, he’s not tossing out a weekly story. He takes time to investigate and while my greedy self would love to hear him more, I appreciate the time he puts into the people and families.

David Ridgen could read the phone book for each weekly episode and I would still listen. With that being said, his wit, compassion for victims, and storytelling abilities makes it that much better!
