It takes exceptional courage and integrity to set your career on fire and turn your back on your tribe for the sake of principles. The exceptional part is amply demonstrated by the sparse company Kinzinger finds himself in (so…Liz Cheney, Geoff Duncan…, erm… end of list). Principles matter, more than anything, more than ever. And that should be enough of a recommendation, except Adam also happens to be super smart, interesting, and great fun to listen to. I’ve never been a Republican, but I find it hard to disagree with him on anything these days.
