I’ve been a Pivot listener since 2019 and am so grateful to Kara and Scott for sharing their wisdom and perspective; I’ve learned so much from them! But I’m rapidly losing interest and suspect your audience is too. Scott is absent from the podcast much of the time, and when he’s there, he increasingly leans into his worst tendencies, interrupting and steamrolling Kara with narcissistic comments. Meanwhile, Kara’s interviewing…Mark Cuban?! Hey friends, you know who already has a platform to say whatever they want, and who we’ve heard from WAY too often in the last 10 years? BILLIONAIRES! Are Scott and Kara phoning it in because they’ve lost interest in doing this podcast? Nothing can last forever. But if they are still interested, get it together! You don’t realize it, but you’re out of touch, just like the tech bros you purportedly criticize.

This is my favorite podcast. Love your in-depth coverage of the issues and you’re no holds barred opinions. You were both intelligent, well, researched, insightful, and funny. When I’m at my wits end with the crazy happening in our country, you lift me up and make me feel better. The needle scratches on the record, however, every time I hear Kara say “attorney generals.” They’re not a gaggle of generals. It’s either one attorney general or multiple attorneys general. Thanks!

Thank you for bringing on Hilary Clinton. Love her or hate her there is no denying her incredible intellect. This was a very substantive, fun, insightful and thoughtful conversation. Pivot is my favorite podcast and Kara and Scott have such a ying/yang dynamic yet if there is a Scott-free August, this episode was off the Richter scale for the above reasons. (I love Hillary by the way)

Of every co-host I’ve heard on Pivot, Secretary of State Clinton is the best. I like Scott’s marketing and business insights but his internalized misogyny comes out in such disgusting ways and is so unlistenable, I’m constantly fast forwarding past things he says. I didn’t have to fast forward once in this episode.

Sadly had to unsubscribe after listening regularly for a couple years. Kara has increasingly injected conversations with high school- level gossip and subjective takes (“I sat next to them”, “they hate women, they’re sad, they’re weird, etc.”). Yikes. It’s not what I was tuning in for, and judging by others’ reviews, many feel the same.

I’ve been a listener for ages and I can’t continue. I often enjoy Scott’s brash style and bold opinions whether I agree or not. But his outspoken support of the murder of Palestinian civilians is completely unconscionable. And Kara’s seeming refusal to discuss it is an endorsement by omission. I will miss having these viewpoints every week, but we all have our line and I have found mine.
