I have been listening to DVC fan for ages! I was a day one listener when Paul and Amy took over and it’s been amazing. No more Sunday scaries for me because I know that Monday morning I’ll have DVC fan show waiting for me and my morning commute. I love the banter, the information, and the chance to get into my Disney bubble each week. What a great start to the week!

Thanks to this podcast, we went into our DVC meeting very informed and even knew some things our guide didn’t. Highly recommend giving g these guys a listen if you’re considering becoming a member (direct or resale) or if you just love Disney!

The hosts are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and give honest and fair reviews on the parks, rooms, cruises, attractions, food and merchandise. Do yourself a favor and listen to these podcasts before your next visit; what you learn will save you time, money and help you set your expectations!

I have listened to the vast majority of episodes starting with those that Pete hosted and this show gave me a TON of information which led me to purchase my first DVC contract last year (direct for Riviera & the perks). I have full intentions of purchasing resale at some point and probably from DVC Resale Market. I absolutely LOVE Amy and as a fellow WV native who lived in Wheeling for several years I will always root for Paul and Amy! That being said, I say with full love and compassion that this show has become really negative both towards Disney and DVC Direct Sales and it is a huge turnoff. Do I love thrill rides and am I super excited about Epic Universe? Absolutely. Do I disagree with some of Disney’s decisions? No doubt. Choosing to re-theme Rockin’ Roller Coaster to Muppets and fill Rivers of America with concrete, I low-key wonder if the Disney execs have half a brain left between all of them combined. Is it super annoying that they’re building another DVC showroom instead of adding a new ride or show to Epcot? 100% without question. However, I would temper my strong opinions if I were a podcast host trying to amp people up to purchase DVC. There are episodes where I genuinely wonder if some of the podcast hosts even actually like Disney World. It isn’t fun to listen to all the negativity and I hope they figure out how to redirect the energy in a more positive direction. It’s possible to love Disney and Universal and appreciate each for their individual strengths without just crapping at least a handful of times every single episode.

It feels like this podcast is just one long advertisement for resale purchases and for the DIS boards. I mean I get it, it's run by the DIS and is sponsored by a resale broker, but the bias is not even subtle. Also, I wish other people had more opportunity to speak - Pete rambles on and on with his personal views that aren't always constructive. Jackie has some nice comments and I'd like to hear from her more, especially because she typically has a more positive view even when she is critical. As I've listened to it more it's turned more into a complaining-fest about how much Disney is ripping people off, and it makes me wonder if the hosts should still be DVC owners if they seem to dislike it so much.
