I love everything KCSN puts out. Y’all somehow manage to keep me entertained year-round, even during the parts of the offseason when absolutely nothing is happening. My favorite show has to be That Football Show for having the courage to take on Big Toilet and the porcelain-industrial complex. Loved Tucker’s review of the 2023 season and just how absolutely ridiculous everything about that SB run was. Question for the crew: What single play do y’all think best encapsulates that 2023 Chiefs team? My vote is Butker shanking in the longest field goal in Super Bowl history. Keep up the good work, and please don’t let Home Depot silence you!
I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect much when I first started listening. There are a million sports podcasts out there, and I figured this would just be another one in the rotation. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Matt and Tucker have incredible chemistry and play off each other perfectly. They cover the Chiefs, the NFL as a whole, and sometimes veer off into life topics, which somehow ends up being just as entertaining. What really sets the show apart is the humor—there are so many moments that catch you completely off guard and have you laughing out loud. What started as something I’d throw on occasionally has turned into the podcast I look forward to the most. If you’re a Chiefs fan looking for news, opinions, and a show that never takes itself too seriously, That Football Show is easily the best Chiefs podcast out there.
Listening to the two of you is like hanging out with my most interesting and smartest friends and there’s good food and drinks. For me the two of you make learning about football fun because I have a lot to learn.
Don’t know why this obnoxious New Yorker is a Chiefs fan but I’m glad he is. Matt and Tucker have a great show, even in early June when there’s nothing to talk about I look forward to the episodes they post on every Monday and Friday. But look out! If your virgin ears aren’t allowed to hear profanity because you don’t want to make Jesus mad and you’re a basic virtue signaler then this IS NOT the show for you. But for the rest of us who live in the real world it’s the best. Thanks, guys.
Been a listener since the early Time’s Ours days, and this show used to be my first (and sometimes only) Chiefs pod. I’ve been moving away from it, and I just wanted to share my reasons in case the guys ever read these. I have appreciated this show over the years. Maybe Nate’s ESPN role has made him more hesitant to share information, but there’s very little true news delivered on this show anymore. Rather than sharing insight or adding context or color to the news he shares on ESPN, Nate rambles and veers into his bits and voices. These rarely work. The windups are way too long, and there is only occasionally actual insight or a point. So for now I use the transcript to find the parts where Seth actually shares analysis of the team. Those are still great. I don’t like sharing this stuff, but I miss the old, insightful episodes.
A show about nonsense masquerading as a football content show. I find myself skipping through most of the show because it’s filled with sidebar conversations and the frustrating thing it doesn’t take much at all to get them distracted from talking football. It’s hard for them to stay on task. I’ve tried to see it through but it’s just too much.
