As an ardent cinephile, I can't express how fantastic this podcast is. Candid, intellectual and fun conversations between directors about their latest works. I heavily encourage everybody to check this podcast out and revel in all of its gems!
This is my favorite movie podcast. Having directors interview each other is so refreshing. That is what really separates this from other director interviews. I love to watch the movie first then listen to the episode. Keep it going!
So far I’ve listened to interviews with PT Anderson, Greta Gerwig and Guillermo del Toro. Each one was as entertaining as it was inspiring. I highly recommend. You can’t regret it.
I absolutely love this podcast. Almost every episode is amazing. But the Darren Aaronofsky and William Friedkin episode seems so uncomfortable for Darren. William is direct and blunt I get that but I can’t stand the way he conducts interviews. I can’t imagine him on set talking to actors and krew members.
