TV & Film · Audacy, Matt Marr and Jake Anthony
by Audacy, Matt Marr and Jake Anthony
Jake Anthony and Matt Marr are two Southern Queens who absolutely love reality shows about lonely hearts looking for love. They recap it all including: TLC's 90 Day Fiancé, Love is Blind on Netflix, Love After Lockup, and some other shows where the people are just hot messes looking for love. If you've been looking for your gay BFFs to dish this show, you're home Queen!Matt is a clinical psychologist, while Jake is a life coach and teacher. And they both are shady queens who are boggled at the insane ways some of these people search for love in this world. The only thing more certain than a K-1 Visa or a venereal disease is the fact that Jake and Matt will keep you laughing at these lovebirds while also judging their choices. But none of it is mean, because Jake and Matt get it. At the end of the day, aren't we all just looking for our little piece of love?Follow us Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.Find all things Mattie & Poodle at www.realitygays.com. An Audacy Podcast.

Love listening to the Queens recap these trash tv shows that I love so much..Love the reads they give to these cast members! Gives me such joy! I must be nuts!
Overall, great podcast. Has gotten me through many a road trip. My listening tends to ebb and flow with the 90 day franchise. My suggestion would be to please consider getting an audio editor to remove the mouth noises that the mic keeps picking up, often back to back to back at full volume (from one of the hosts, probably drinking water while recording). As someone with audio editing experience, I can attest that it is absolutely possible to remove or lower the level of noises like that, one by one, in basic editing software. The only reason to not do so would be if there is no audio editing taking place. Thus my suggestion for an editor. :) Thank you and thanks for all you do!
so like i don’t even really watch the shows they talk about but im listening to their slomw series and i have to rewind some parts bc im laughing this hard. somehow they’re able to manage tough topics too which is incredibly impressive. love yall!!
Matt and Jake offer the most entertaining takes on the 90-day shows. I always look forward to their hilarious impressions, singing, and therapy informed analysis of all these reality characters. Keep it up boys!
If you go back and listen to early episodes of this podcast, they are funny and super warm hearted. But lately content has not been good. The tone of the show has gotten too mean and preachy for me to listen to as a lighthearted escape. I actually had to stop listening because some episodes were giving me anxiety. They have some wild takes, absolutely tearing down certain characters while giving others with atrocious behavior a complete pass (like Jasmine because she’s “entertaining”…gross). Not to mention the 45 mins of fast forwarding through announcements and random tangents is ridiculous. Just not fun to listen to anymore.
I started listening to you guys a couple years ago and you now you can’t stop talking about your sex lives every two minutes. I do enjoy the show when you talk about it and love hearing funny stories of your families.
