What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

If you’re wondering whether or not you will like this podcast, you will. The Middle is a wonderful show, perfectly observed, and always a little bit underrated. But the pure joy that Eden and Brock bring to their rewatch podcast is the perfect emotional equivalent of watching the show. I love the interviews, I love the backstage stories, and I love how much Eden and Brock love each other. I also love getting to know them as people, the details about their lives, Eden’s husband and kids, Brock’s relationship with his partner—it makes their characters richer, but the real gift is getting to them as human beings. Things are hard right now, the world is ugly and mean, so thank God we have this – – the podcast we need right now! Thank you, Eden and Brock!

Love the discussions on the middle but would really love short recaps of what happened in the episode and much more discussion on your personal thoughts and anecdotes on the episode. Love memories and behind the scenes info! I loved the interview with Brock’s mom! Hearing her behind the scenes of what it was like was so lovely! This is exactly the kind of stuff I would love more of as a long time fan of the middle! Love that you’re taking a break and giving time to add in any feedback!

BreannaPriddy · Jan 2025

I’ve seen The Middle so many times, it’s a favorite for our whole family. This pod is really great, Eden and Brock have a fun banter and Brock especially seems to really have a talent for hosting and interviewing. Great guests so far, too. By the way, for people who were initially complaining about the language, that was only in the first couple episodes.) Looking forward to more great episodes!

You deserve so many more stars than just five. This is the podcast I didn’t know I need and now can’t live without. Found you the week before Christmas and was caught up in four days now have to suffer week to week! Please promise you will be back after your month break!! Looking forward to many years with you in ears! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I am a huge Middle fan! The show has carried me through some difficult times. I even went to see Eden's show. As much as I wanted to like this podcast and was looking forward to it, there is just too much meandering conversation on her part.I think it would be helpful if they divided the show into segments or topics that they could then stick to. I think the Office Ladies is a very good example of that kind of format with just enough side conversation.

IMKNOTU · May 2025

Before doing this podcast maybe you could have watched them all a couple times OR put a super fan on the podcast. It was very annoying that you don’t remember the show. I liked the guest interviews but too short and didn’t hear enough from them. I also felt the foul language was unnecessary and lacks intelligence to find a better word. Also the Patreon advertising comes off as desperate. Update: further into the podcast the language cleans up.
