What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I love this pod! They're funny and thorough and I love the banter at the beginning. I could listen to Kara talk about anything, I find myself not realizing I'm listening to the home chef add because I just enjoy hearing her talk I guess?? Liza is funny. In the kindest way possible I love her little chipmunk laugh she does sometimes.

I love listening to this podcast every week! I don’t even watch then episodes. I truly just love these ladies recap of the episode, real crime, and interview. I also love when these ladies talk about politics and other current events. Keep it coming :)

LSGlasgow · Nov 2024

I really appreciate Liza vocalizing the anger and rage that a lot women feel post election. It’s wild that people expect us to carry on our every day lives and in Liza’s case ENTERTAIN THEM when our democracy is literally crumbling around us. This pod is not for those people and good riddance :)

hmh1117 · Nov 2024

I’ve been listening from the start and just now gettin around to reviewing (sorry I’m a d*ck). This podcast is my happy place, even more so since the election. So many podcasters have made subtle comments but refuse to take a strong stance but not Liza and Kara. They are a breath of fresh air and helping me grieve. I love all the interviews but especially enjoyed their interview with Riki today. Really appreciate their ability to have such conversational interviews, it’s much more enjoyable to listen to. Keep up the good work! Hope to see y’all come to Kansas City on a future tour! And for the haters telling you to “keep politics out of it” on YOUR OWN PODCAST, there are 10x more of us who appreciate you speaking up 🫶🏼

amadden88 · Nov 2024

I have listened to this podcast from day one and it is always been one of my favorites since it came out. However, Liza’s verbal assault on those listeners that don’t happen to align with her politically following the election has made me stop listening. Her reaction was akin to a toddler having a temper tantrum because they didn’t get their way. It came across very hypocritical as frequently they speak of being tolerant and all inclusive and she was anything but. To say that people voted for lower egg prices just shows their ignorance. Sorry to say that I won’t be able to listen anymore.
